Much Better Than This...

In the historic scheme of things, a search
within this record will show that there have
been previous seasons with either more or
less open terrain than this one, however the
recent cold snap with the additional natural
snowfall brought Tremblant well above the
30 year running average accumulation total
so we have a lot to be thankful for as the
final days of the official calendar draw to
a close.

Access Logistics, The Typical Spring Challenge.

Here’s a shot below of Versant Soleil Toboggan
that clearly shows wonderful spring conditions
at mid elevations.

The challenge in this sector is going to be the
runout access to the sector lift where the focus
of the late day solar intensity combined with
ambient late afternoon temps at up to +17 C,
plus the “breezes” acting as a hot air blower,
are all acting to thaw out the lower vertical
meters. Changes in coverage here reducing
the snow coverage have been evident by the
hour in some cases so it would not surprise
us to see a closure of this sector soon.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
