Surprise!!!

It’s Snowing At Tremblant !!!

Weather Notes:

Please Note: It is currently snowing fairly heavily
over Tremblant’s Summit elevations and due to
the forecast drop in temps through the day we
think there is a good possibility that the precip.
will remain snowfall all day because of much
cooler winds aloft. We could be wrong, but the
evidence so far supports 100% snow.

Conditions Notes:

With the Summit at Zero C, and the Sud/South Base level
at +5 C, there may most likely be a mix of firm to soft
groomed surfaces from top-to-bottom on the open
Versant Nord/North Side terrain. It should be noted
that the temp differences at Base Levels between
Sud/South and Nord/North are typically around -3 C
cooler on the Nord/North, so there is a real possibility
that the skiing today could be exceptionally fine high
performance spring snow that is “Goldilocks Snow”,
i.e. not too soft, and not too firm, just right in the
middle... with very stable, slightly dropping daytime
temps that should help keep things on the firm side.

As a totally unexpected bonus, if the precip. that
is early morning snowfall continues, today could
actually be a fly under the radar day of unique
end-of-season excellence.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
