Forecast High Temp At -4C!
Does this spell the end of winter?
The Warmest It’s Been In Weeks!
No, winter is far from over but it’s certainly
a relief to see far more seasonal temps that
signify the beginning of a moderate transition
towards spring.
Weather Notes:
Conditions Notes:
Please Note: There has been so much snow in the
last two weeks that we have to evacuate drifts around
the chalet foundation in order to prevent flooding in
the spring(#) melt. Due to landscaping and shrubbery,
this work has to be all done by hand and as a
consequence we’ve had to take the weekend to
do it and content here is reduced as a result. Sorry about that...
This is also a great explanation for why the skiing is
excellent. Too much snow around foundations may
be not so good, but too much snow on the mountain
is a very happy circumstance!
(#) Another motivation for “do it now” is that everything
is still cold, light and dry. When the heat hits tomorrow,
all the snow on the ground is going to quickly get about
as thick as a brick, about as heavy as concrete, and a LOT
harder to move. “Fluffy”, is good, “Soggy” not easy to move.

If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
