------ T360 Apres Midnight Apres Ski Edit, Under Construct At 12:12 A.M. --------

Wow... Mid Winter Snow White Wonder On April 16, 2025... Wow...

Not only was it a totally surprising day of genuine winter
intensity, but it was also “dynamic” in the changing status
of open terrain. As usual, the very best way to have access
to the latest Mountain Intel was and always is to consult
with the Info. Ski Crews at their Summit station across
from the Gondola offload dock.

As you can see from the above, labelled “Apres Ski” because it was
shot at about 4:25 P.M. it snowed all day at Tremblant and in a very
winter like vigorous way that we are certain is going to raise this
seasons total accumulation of natural snow above the 600 cm’s
mark, making this an Official T360 "Super Season Superieur”.

For the records, we define any season with 20% over the 30 year
average of 439cm’s as a “Super Season”, further, we designate
any season with 600cm’s or more as a "Super Season Superieur”,
the ultimate in favourable snowfall totals. That is indeed right now.

Please Note: Additional Content for this Apres Ski is included
below as “reply”/Page 2, and is under additional development
to follow, so please scroll all the way through and be sure
to review our coverage of this extraordinary late season snowstorm.

Conditions Notes:

In The Groomed:

In the overnight freshly groomed, there should be
fantastic end of season smoothness and winter-like
performance.

There may be variable rates of softness or firmness
depending on side and elevation as the recent warm
weather might see some residual thaw effects in the
underlaying strata, however, perhaps a more likely
scenario is that because of a temp drop below Zero
there may be icy overtones. Either way we think those
would be minor considerations and not in any way
detractions from the overall great conditions and
smooth scope of coverage for any April 16 on record.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:

When and where open...

Extraordinary Expert Late Season Conditions.

Totally a’la Carte, but a totally excellent adventure!

Many, many wild cards but for as long as you have
the muscle, endless thrills and challenge!

Additional Data/Pic’s For April 16, 2025.

Today was a late season authentic winter gift from Mother Nature.

It was a rare treat that we don’t always get at the end of any given season
however we do get them often enough to recognize and appreciate them
for their unique experience. Scroll back through all the April records in
this archive and you’ll find enough of them to realize that snowstorms in
April are perhaps more common than you might think.

It’s like being transported back in time in the flash of overnight and
if you showed any experienced Skier these pic’s dated January 16,
or February 16, or even March 16, no one would doubt you for a second.

Please Note: more text/pic content to follow, but the summary is
that this is a wonderful little reset for the final days of the season
and if your plans don’t include Tremblant for this closing phase,
you’ve got the wrong plans.

It remained cool enough that when combined with the wind
the whole day actually generated feelings of genuine winter cold.

Snow fell abundantly everywhere over all sides however there were
zones of wind shaped sectors of favourable deposit as the swirl
effect over the Summit created pockets of more calmness where
snow could settle more easily. Additionally, some trail sides got
lee-side drift-in where entire descent lines close to the tree lines
where noticeably deeper than the centres.

The new snow came a s a fairly light, dry crystal but it did have
some friction in it so glide was in need of a bit of skate action
assist on some lesser slope angles, but steeper slopes were
very easy to control speed on. The thickness of its rapid
accumulation made for a bit of Beginner learning challenge
but Experts were simply being amazed at such a gift and
Whoops and Hollers could be heard all day as the fun never
stopped right on up until last run.

This snowfall event will absolutely benefit all of the final days,
but especially tomorrow when the the majority of the new depths
are going to be intact until the return of Spring heat gets back to work.
