Earlier this week we were fortunate enough to witness a test cycle operation
of the TGV, so this announcement brings that full circle to the weekend opening.

This will be a huge logistical benefit to all Tremblant Guests throughout the
24Hr Event as access to Publicly available Terrain on the South Side will be
far easier now.

Excellent Work Tremblant!

All Night Long....

We think that the Over-Night Snowmaking Production will have
generated excellent quantities and quality of Blown Snow due
to a lower than forecast -19C.

The combination of high velocity air and water at the Snow-gun nozzle tips
seems to respond very well to the cold, dry overnight atmosphere and
you can actually see enhanced Snowfall precipitation when that occurs.

The Regular Folks, Not in the Event, Tremblant Guest Advantage:

This is where regular Ski/Board Guests who are not participants in the 24Hr.
Children’s Charity Fundraiser, get a tangible benefit from the event preparation
as Mountain Operations works Overtime to produce the very finest surfaces possible
for both the Event Course as well as all the Publicly accessible Open Terrain.

The 24Hr. Children’s Charity Fundraiser Marathon is a Marquee Event not only
for Tremblant, but for the whole Ski Resort Industry, and Tremblant never
disappoints as the Eye’s of the Ski/Board World look upon the Largest Ski/Board
Community Fundraising Effort on the North American Continent. The Mountain wakes
up on Saturday Morning in the Best Condition Possible for all the world to see, but for
all the Guests to use.

A word to Near-Term Tremblant Visit Planners:

While all this attention is focused on the immediacy of the weekend’s activities,
there is no doubt that the benefits of all this Terrain development and Surface
preparation last on as a wonderfully solid bridge to the establishment of the
Winter Season with December’s advancing dates. For this specific reason, if
you are considering a Tremblant visit in the upcoming time period prior to
the Christmas/New Year Holiday period, do not hesitate for one second to make
those plans. You should be rewarded with some of the very best possible Winter
Alpine Snow Sport Terrain in Eastern North America.

Next 48 Hour Weather Notes:

Starts Sunny, turns cloudy today, daytime high at -5C, with temps rising
throughout the night as fog develops. Foggy Saturday Morning at -3C,
rising to Zero as the Sky’s are supposed to be clearing and becoming
sunny right at Noon. Just in time, we hope, for the start of the 24Hr
Children’s Charity Event.

Temps falling gradually to -7C ’til about 8:00P.M. when they take a dip and
fall steadily to -15C by Sunrise on Sunday Morning. Sundays Daytime high
forecast at -10C, but under a brilliant Sunny Sky.

Winds throughout the Charity Weekend Event are forecast at moderate speeds
and predominantly Nor-West, so moving over the Summit from the Nansen Sector
towards Duncan.

Fairly easy Winter Temps and fabulous Ski/Board Surface Conditions should
be consistent as there are no thermal spikes to deal with at Mountain Levels.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
