“Excellent Signs Of Winter” Version 2:

Breathtaking, Intimate, Natural Views Imaginable to Dedicated Tremblant Fans.

Regardless of Temperature, Grey Snowy Days are never completely dull.
There are always "The Colours Of Fun!"
1.15.15.Duncan.Quad.Snow.Day.Florals.f.jpg
Since 1939, Tremblant’s Eclectic Mix of Local/International Fan Guest/Patrons,
Have been Bringing Fashionable Colours Of Fun To Tremblant!
(Please Note: Pic.Above: We were actually trying to capture the Flying Snow across
a Telephoto Depth of Field. You can see the white streaks. What was happening
was the bands of very active and sporadically quite intense snowfall were actually
putting a fair bit on the ground(**).)
Speaking of “1939”, we snapped this one below two days ago with the
thought that composition-wise, it has the architectural elements that
span the Generations of Global Tremblant Fans since that First Ski Resort
Opening day, almost 76 years ago.

Conditions Forecast/Samples: Groomed:
(Please Note: We are using Sunlit pic’s from day before yesterday because
they are sunlit and show better detail of surface quality that was repeated
yesterday, but difficult to photograph due to Fog. We expect those conditions
to be generally repeated yet again today, including the added last Overnight.
If anything, today’s Traction may be even better.)

Skiing these surfaces is a Joy. In the Open Expanses(!!), they are quite near flawless.
((!!)caution for debris around some Lift Zones.
Conditions Un-Groomed:
Potential Drifted(^^) Powder Alert!
Conditions Summary:
Something For Everyone:
Likelihood Groomed: Versant Sud,South Side, Soleil.
Likelihood Powder Alert: Versant Nord, Edge.
Weather Notes:
Howling Nor-West Wind(^^)... at least so-far at South Base Ground Levels.
There will be Lee-side quiet spots, but you will need to pay close attention to
Outer Layer Gaps and Secure Fastenings because Wind Strips Heat Quicker than
a Starving Monkey can Peel a Banana.
If you can prevent Wind Injected Cold Air, Particularly around Head and Neck...
you’ll be amazed at how much easier it is to stay Warmer.
Semi-Sunny, quite light overcast, Temps Dropping all day... down to -16C after Lunch.
Bundle Up.

Bring Back The Memories...
Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
(
If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
