T360 Early Apres Ski Intro @ 6:30 P.M.

This is pretty much how it was all day at Tremblant today...

We would like to report on a significant “User Friendly” modification to
the Duncan Haut, Upper Pitch. The entrance to this sector has been shared
with Saute-Moutons for decades and it has been considered as a difficult
portion to navigate due to the narrow and steep dimensions that cause
a constriction in the traffic flow and the often Icy consequences of excessive
wear factors.

Mountain Crews have now completed the widening of this section by using
Snowmaking to fill in the top of Saute-Moutons, virtually all the way down to
the entrance to Devils River.

This widening very effectively allows much wider traverses to be used to descend
and that means it’s easier, a lot easier.

Common to almost all Groomed Terrain:
Nord, North Side Beauchemin is
Satin Smooth and Very, Very Fast. Mountain Crews have done an exceptional
job of rendering an integrated surface including all the recent Fresh Snowfall
into the existing base. The results speak for themselves and the Quality is
absolutely first rate.

----------- Conditions Caveat -------------

The Un-groomed Expert Terrain has wear factors that are now exposing
some small Natural Hazard zones of Wood and Rock that require careful
navigation where they are evident.

Caution should be used in both initial explorations and subsequent passage as
traffic can cause different hazard exposure over the course of time.

--------------------------------------------

Below: The overall beauty of the Iconic Laurentian Scenery is not easily
defined by words. You really need to be here to see for yourself. We can state
with complete certainty that there is no Camera on the face of Earth that can
portray all of the majestic scope that the human eye sees when actually in
the centre of it all. We try to capture as much as is practical, but we encourage
you to attend to take it all in personally.

91(*) Open Trails on the Pure Winter 4 Very Beautiful Sides of #Tremblant.

Awesome, Awesome,

Mind Expanding, Air Rebounding,

Mega Shredding, Action Carving !!!

Look Closely... Between 3 to 5 feet of Rebound Air on almost every turn, the
twin tracks of our skis show the Aggressive Carving Angles you can use on this
extraordinarily finely groomed snow.

Carve This... If you can... This is another angle, light and camera settings,
zoom perspective, of the shot we ran in last night’s Apres Ski and we’re including it
here as the lead Pic. because of the way it shows the absolutely astounding level of
Performance Skiing that you can have today at Tremblant.

“Awesome” is one of the most over-used, misused, and abused words in the
English Language, but in the case of all the Tremblant Overnight Groomed Terrain,
it is entirely and very, very appropriate.

Definition: Awesome:

Tremblant is currently “All Of The Above" ...Period.

We also Absolutely Love what the Overnight Cryogenic Effects are on the Snow too,
and at last night’s low of -30C/22 below Zero F, those effects will cover every square
CM of the mountains coverage.

Fear Not Though Tremblant Fans... the Weather Network’s forecast says there will
be a 20 degree C RISE in temps by around noon, up to -10C! ... Wow!

Winds are forecasted to be quite light and from the East, so basically, a few breezes
coming up the Mountain from the Duncan Sector.

With the Cloudless, Brilliantly Sunny Blue Sky... not only will there be Direct
Solar Energy Warmth, but additionally, it's certainly going to be one very Photogenic day!

Here is a look at the Natural Snow at the top of McCulloch’s Pitch,
right under the TVG Quad. It is a Very Light Dry Powder that has been
Wind Packed in this location and has a very thin crust on top. There is
not a lick or smidgen of ice in it. It breaks up like dust and if you tried to
pick up any of the small chunky looking bits in this pic., they just fall apart
into Snow Dust on contact.

Very Poor Snowball Snow... it’s too light and dry...

Very Excellent Ski/Board Snow!!!

Below:
Looking 180 Degrees Up from the top pic in this set, above, you can see all the
evidence you need about the Crystal Clear Tremblant Sky as well as more visual
support for the Snow Crystal Quality.

Spectacular Views, Super-Fine Snow Conditions... we’re not sure if there’s
anything else we could possibly wish for, except maybe a few degrees warmer,
but even then we’re happy with things exactly the way they are for all the benefits
of “Squeaky" Cool Snow Skiing Performance that is at the highest levels of technical merit.

Today holds every promise of universal Quality and Coverage, and we can’t wait to
get out to confirm the “Best Of Season” potential that is represented by the Official
Tremblant Trail and Grooming data.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
