Another Month Of “Fabulous" Started Today...

And Through All Of It... The Skiing on the Impeccably Fine Groomed Trail Selection
was more of what it’s been for multiple Weeks, and Weeks, and Weeks...
Excellent! (See notes below for more info on the Un-groomed Expert Terrain)

Mild Weather, comparatively speaking, so very easy... and if you want,
an incredibly fine Fitness And Training Day that you could really lean into
your edges for Rocket Turns... if you have the Muscle to support that all day...

(This is one of a series of Expo Action Shots of this very talented Skier
demonstrating Beautiful Technique and Absolute Control while Skiing
right down the centre of the Expo Pitch. The full Sequence of shots is
perhaps our best Action Series we’ve gotten this season and we intend
to use it as a "How To Ski Expo" Topic within the Tremblant Geographic
Section of these Forums.)

And... Conditions for March Start Out With Exactly The Very Same Quality. Period.

There is something for everyone, however...

The Specialty of the House is Groomed Terrain for All Skill Levels. It is
some of the Very Finest Carving Performance, Pure Winter, 98% All Snow
Base we have ever seen. The most amazing part is the Scope, i.e. the
completeness over such a wide and all-encompassing area of the Mountain.
By our Observational Records, OVER 60 Days of Pure, 24/7 Sub-Zero Winter
have allowed Mountain Crews to refine the Groomed Terrain to a total square
covered area we may never see again! ...We Hope We are Wrong. If you miss
it, but could be here, you are:

a) not a serious Skier or Boarder,

b) crazy.

You would really need to ask yourself some serious questions if you
willingly gave up the opportunity to have one of the finest Ski Days of
this Ski Season....

The Un-Groomed Expert Terrain is for the most part, Excellent as well,
however there can be natural hazards in the typical locations such as
over crests where the wind has eroded the most exposed bits, and/or
in areas of concentrated traffic where trails are narrow or intersect.
Use Caution and Reduced Speed for Initial Explorations on all
un-groomed Expert Terrain.

Weather Notes:

Hey, at -20C It’s Warm Out! ... and the Sun looks like it’s trying to burn off
the new morning hazy atmosphere...

The rest of the weather forecast says we can expect a daytime high temp
at -5C, building overcast and “Flurries” moving into the region for the afternoon
and overnight.

What we like most about the immediate situation is the very low wind component
from the South at less than 2 KMPH which is a Huge blessing to those out for
First Tracks.

Any Sub-Zero Winter Temperature is soooooo much easier without the Wind
and especially when there is a bit of ambient humidity in the stat’s, as there is today.

Today holds every promise of being another Extraordinary Day of Superlative
Skiing And Boarding, so we hope everyone who can be here is.

These Are The Days... Skiers and Boarders Dream of in the “Off Season”, days
that tick all the boxes of “Excellent”, days that come very close to “Ideal”.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
