There’s Really No Wrong Answer...

It can be any of those... as long as you can put yourself in the picture...

...and select anything off the appropriate Skill Level from the following List...

One of the most impressive aspects of the current conditions is the consistency
across the complete range of Skill Levels in the Grooming results. It really
is exceptional to be able to go North, South, Edge and Soleil and find virtually
the same traction and grip levels where-ever you go.

Every Season has it’s "Sweet Spots” and if you had the time, you could read back
through the years here and find the days that we’ve written about those Sweet Spots
and how responsible exploration, i.e. speed appropriate for caution when you’re
making initial rounds, reveals them.

This Season, all you have to do is get off the lift and point your skis down the
Mountain in just about any direction you care to, and “Presto”... you’re on a
“Sweet Spot”, you’re on Great, Tremblant Terrain!...

We’ve had recent days where we have to take it easy from the intense Carving
performance for a couple of runs, just to let the Muscles refresh. The exercise
values are right up there with the most demanding Gym workout, but the huge
difference in that comparison is the way better scenery and the thrills of the
Sport that take away any of the drudgery that a heavy Gym workout can have.

Mixing up Ski Technique styles is a fun way to build variety too, and all you need
to do there is try different descent combinations where variable Terrain responds
well to quick adaptive control inputs. This helps build quick reflexes, when Trail
Conditions change rapidly, those that can adapt the quickest, definitely have the
most fun!

------ Mountain Utility Notice/Conditions Caveat.---------

The only caution at Tremblant at this stage is that there are some crests that
have been subjected to a combination of wind and traffic erosion that have
exposed rocky hazards that need very slow navigation to get across. The most
obvious one is under the Soleil Quad at the top where you can cut onto the
upper entrance to “Ryan”. There is a very narrow band of snow on the left
descending side, but while that’s visible from the overhead prospect of the
chairlift riding over it, it will not be so obvious from the ground approaching it.
Bare Spots over Crests can be a common pattern, so this is a classic example of
that and personally, we would always approach crests we need to traverse
from the outboard edges to verify safe access to terrain below.

--------------- end of notice -------------------

Daytime Hight Temp. @-6C, under Mostly Sunny Sky, possibilities of Flurries
later on so there may be some overcast developing this afternoon.
Easy, Early, Beautiful March Winter Day with Excellent Conditions and
Excellent Sunny Vision!

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
