The Beauty Of Today... Stat’s say 7Cm’s of Fresh Snow!

The Beauty Of This Season So Far...

The Beauty of this season so far is the existence of similar conditions of
excellence and consistency for over 60 consecutive days of uninterrupted
Pure Winter Weather.

Is that Record Number of Days of Sub-Zero’s on the Mountain going to end today?

The Weather forecast has been revised upward with a Zero C daytime high but we’re
hoping the Sky stays Overcast so there won’t be any significant Solar Heat
generation.

In addition, we specifically make reference to “On The Mountain” because of
what we call the “Elevation Differential”, i.e. for every 1,000 Feet of Vertical Rise,
the temps drop, on average, about 2 degrees C. This is a vitally important distinction
when the South Base Levels are coming up close to, or right on Zero.

As a matter of fact... our ONLY concern is “On The Mountain” because we do not Ski
anywhere else, so as a Tremblant Ski/Board Conditions Report, we think this is a
valid point.

Ordinarily the biggest temp. spread would be between the Summit and Base, which
would put the Summit at somewhere around -4 C, so for that reason we think that
as long as the Base level temps do not go over Zero, we’ll hang on to “Winter”
conditions all the way down the descents “On The Mountain”.

Back to todays New Snowfall...

With the relatively low speed wind during the snowfall, you can
look for a fairly even distribution of New Snow, however there
may still be some areas of localized drifting to deeper amounts.

More on the way later on, but it’s a very timely addition to the base
during a busy School Break Holiday time period, so you can count on
the same high standards of surface quality.

Get out when you can!

Page under progressive assembly.

Ski/Board Utility Note:

As the temps rise towards todays expected high of -1C, the 80% humidity
may effect friction levels in Snow Surfaces. A Warm rated wax or coating
for bases will be a performance asset.

advance to Spring finally does occur. As of this date, we are still in a
most unique and beneficial Winter Weather Anomaly that Skiers are
