T360 Apres Ski Edit @ 10:30 P.M.

The Sun did come in and out, but the clouds never left the sky so there
were always shadows moving across the Mountain and for the majority of
the day, it was overcast.

The Skiing and Boarding were easy enough if you kept Speed in Check, but
none-the-less, challenging due to the natural softness of the new Snowfall,
even where it was Groomed.

Even P’tit Bonheur has a bit of Mogul formation on it’s upper pitch, but from
there down, it was very smooth and even.

There is no question that the Grooming Night Shift is going
to make a huge, positive, increase in the Compaction where-ever
their work takes them.

We did not see or experience any “Plus” Value Temps. ourselves, and it is
our understanding that the Mountain remained Sub-Zero all day.

Monday’s Groomed Trail List Should be extensive, however we are
encouraging patience due to the extra time it may take to integrate
such soft snow into the packed Base on the 4 corners.

To Begin With, Right Now...

The Stat’s say 18 Cm’s... but there will be Drifting with a Lot More!

That Means For Today, There’s Just Way Too Much Snow Around Here To
Be Anything Other Than Excellent!

For Later On...

Exactly how the day plays out is a complex range of possibilities due to
the closeness of the temps to Zero or a degree over, that are forecasted for
the South Base Level.

In a best case scenario, the whole Mountain would remain a degree or more below
with the Elevation Differential of up to -4C cooler temps at Summit level, but, the
Sun is also forecasted for mid-Aft. and that could make things go another direction.

The best chance for continuous Sub-Zero is the North. If the Sun does come out
later afternoon, the North may already be shadowed and consequently, not see
any thermal effects. Time will tell.

At this close to Zero, We’d like to see Overcast. Thaw factors are not an advantage
and the Sun’s energy added to Zero C is not ideal. Even so, the Skiing will be
Excellent Spring all day, and we’ll cope with whatever Mother Nature decides.

On the Bright Side... if there’s Sun, the pic’s will be fabulous!

Conditions will favour those with Expert Skills because of their technical abilities
in thicker or built up Snow that can become tracked and irregular in depth as Traffic
shapes the distribution over the Trail surfaces, however, Mountain Crews typically
have the Main, Green, Easiest Terrain very well packed and groomed, so the Old
Faithful Trails like Nansen and P’tit Bonheur should be Seamlessly Smooth for
Beginners.

The Status of the Un-Groomed Expert Terrain will be a very "a la Carte” thing
on an individual basis. There can be Natural Hazards including rocky zones over
some crests and on some steeper pitches, so cautious exploration is essential
for safety on your initial passes. Even then, Traffic can cause changes during the
day, so even Experts need to keep reduced speeds at all times to navigate
confidently.

In the fullness of time, i.e., over the next couple of days, Mountain Crews will
incrementally improve the scope of Packed and Groomed Terrain. Groomed Trail
surfaces always seem to respond very well to every overnight maintenance cycle
and with over 500 acres to cover, it usually takes at least a couple of nights to get
to all the far reaches.

There’s just so much Snow here that today's Skiing And Boarding can only be Very Fine,
but with so many possible outcomes later on due to the closeness of temps to Zero,
Forecasting precisely is difficult. Apres Ski should provide the best evidence of the
near-term Conditions as we see how things are trending, so we’ll look forward to seeing
you then.

In the Mean-time...

Regardless of Specifics, please keep in mind that right now...
“Average is Excellent” at Tremblant!
