- For those who were not up at this hour, the Sunrise this morning was quite dramatic with the sliver of Moon showing. There was a very nice view of the stars last night under a cool, crystal clear sky.

Winter morning temperatures @-15 mean very "firm” and
very "fast" conditions. The expected high temp today is
around -4C.
There will most likely be enough Solar energy to soften surfaces,
and the Mountain Crews will have the groomers covering as much
as they can.
Between the work of Mother Nature and Man, there will be Great
skiing and Great boarding, but you will need to explore the open
terrain to find the best of it.
The benefit of these cold overnight temps continues to be a
preservation of our base. This base has shown a remarkable
durability considering the weather patterns of the last month,
which have not had as much snow as we typically get in Feb/March
Statistically, over a 30 year average, we would get 117cm of snow for
Feb.(65) and March(52), added together. So far we have only a fraction
of that, yet our base continues to show this exceptional durability.
In this case, Mother Nature is responsible for putting a huge amount
of frost into the Mountain back in the heart of winter, BUT, it is the
Tremblant Mountain Crews who have made the most of our snow
as far as packing it, preserving it, and keeping it in optimum condition.
The net effect is that we still have some of the best spring conditions
we've had in a long time.
