Here are some samples of what your Friends are doing at Tremblant today...
Weather Notes:
We ran this U.S. NOAA.NECP Graphic Weather Predictive Data about a week ago
and it still applies today. What we need readers here to note is that Tremblant
has not stood alone in this record setting winter. Future Tremblant Trip Planners
and Historians need to be able to put this winters records in perspective when
evaluating archived stat’s. What makes things different at Tremblant is the
meticulous manner in which Mountain Crews here took advantage of the
cool conditions to refine the Groomed Trail inventory on a daily basis that
not only produced outstanding daily results, but also generated a base so
well compacted that it essentially became a conductor of the Cool temps that
were transmitted straight through to the Ground beneath, enhancing the depth
of the frost. Conversely, we feel the well compacted base is now acting as a
conductor for the cold frost to radiate back out, inhibiting the warmth of
Spring from degrading the surface layers.

The Unique Quality over the Unique Quantity of Coverage is not something
we get all that often.
Despite the “It’s been a long winter” feedback we’ve been hearing...
“Now” represents the singular opportunity to enjoy all these unique benefits
with far milder temps that frankly, after the “Cool” we were used to,
feel “Hot” today!
