66(*) Open Trails on the South And North Sides of #Tremblant.

Only 2 weeks, give or take a day, left to take part in one of the most
unusually good Ski/Board Seasons we’ve ever experienced.

We’re also at the stage where Mountain Traffic numbers decline as the prime
Ski/Board School and Spring Breaks are all over and done with, not to mention
that even the regional day trippers are seeing the Snow melt off the Lawns at
home and consequently thoughts are turning towards Yard Work and “Warm”
Sports like Golf and Cycling.

For the next 13 days that leaves a Vast Acreage of Superb Groomed Terrain across
all Skill Levels for those of us “Nuts” who prefer Winter Alpine Snow Sports to any
other Seasonal activity.

The Weather is still much more Winter-Like than we might expect for the end
of March, beginning of April, so despite some potential rain in the forecast, which
could actually come as Snow.... we’re looking forward to very easy temps now.

It would appear as though we’ve seen the last of the Deep Freeze days...

It’s a scary day when the Long Range Weather Forecast shows a date when
the Season will be Closed....

The Best part of this forecast model continues to be the stable Overnight
Sub-Zeros, and for that reason we see very little reduction in the
overall surface quality of the Groomed Terrain. Even if there was a lot
more in the way of daytime heat forecasted, it would have a very difficult
time working into the underlaying frost which is so deep into the ground
we think there will be Skiable surfaces on the upper North Side ’til sometime
in June.
