11.25.15 10:30 A.M. Update:
We think one of the best ways to illustrate the prep work going on for Opening Day
is with some basic “Before and After” Web Cam composites.
Starting with the Summit:
We’ve speculated on the possibility of a Summit-To-Base descent path,
due to the extensive snowmaking down to Johannsen, however...
It looks as though we were wrong because the Official Tremblant
Snow Report has Officially states that the Versant Nord, the North Side,
P’tit Bonheur to the Lowell Thomas Triple Chair will be available.
So, we’ll have more detail later, but for those following along we’d say
Opening Day is going to have a good start no matter what Crews have
on-line, and for sure, there’s a lot more coming quite quickly.

“Good” News, and “Other” News...
The Good News Is...
Preparations/Snowmaking for the revised Nov.26th Opening are
well under way with the return to Sub-Zero temps on the Mountain
and anyone following along on the Tremblant Web Cams has been
rewarded with the re-assuring views of Summit-to-Base Snowmaking
on both South(Resort) and North sides.
Here are some samples:

Moving forward to Monday Morning:
Summit temp’s have obviously held very well throughout the night.
The big Turbo-Snowgun at the top of Beauchemin continues to pump it out.
Coverage building rapidly on Johannsen at the Resort South Base.
We love to see this view now because it indicates the very early
establishment of Versant Nord, North Side Summit-to-base terrain.
The “Other” News is that Mother Nature is again providing a
“Moving Target” in the long range Weather Forecast...
It’s still too early to tell exactly how Opening Day will shape up, but
we do not see anything that could compromise the opening itself, even
if current(11.23) weather models suggest “Spring Skiing” conditions
are likely. We’d like to see them wrong, and with temp drops back
down to what was forecast a week ago, but anything goes with Mother
Nature, so we’ll be ready, regardless.
Here’s an annotated 4 Graph composite showing the way the forecast
has evolved:

The additional “Good News" at this point(11.23.15 A.M.), is that the week
following Opening Day looks very favourable for massive Snowmaking and
expanded coverage.
