T360 Early Apres Ski Intro. @ 7:30 P.M.
Lets start with this...
In the last 10 years, we might have seen 50 Cm’s Powder Snow Drift Lines
maybe 5 or 6 times?
Today was one of those.
We wrote earlier that Summit/Nord,North/Edge Sectors could see Drifting...
You Be the Judge...
1.18.16.Ptit.Bonheur.40.cm.Powder.Snow.Drift.Lines.c.jpg
Parts of Sud, South, got lots ‘o Snow too...
1.18.16.Nansen.30.Plus.Cm.Powder.Snow.Drift.Lines.d.jpg
Whatever the Snowfall “Stat’s” say... we can tell ‘ya fer’ a fact...
there were whole Sectors of the Mountain that got Drifting way more...
Experts get Best Results, but there will be lots of Green, Beginner Terrain out
there, Groomed, for first thing tomorrow morning!
More later depending on Pic.Processing over 200 images
that are all suffering from Flat, Low Contrast, Ultra Blowing,
Snowy Grey, White-Out Light Conditions... Poor Photography = Exciting Skiing!

74(*) Open Trails on the 4 Snowed on Sides of #Tremblant.
You Should Be Racing Over To Tremblant...
It Snowed Quite A Bit Last Night...
And It’s Still Snowing Now!
It’s Time To Hop-On-Board At Tremblant!
There’s Snow In Every Direction...
...and coming from multiple sources as Mountain Crews continue to make
Snow on a whole list of Under-Development Trails such as Expo, seen here
in this “Last Run” shot from the Duncan Quad as it rises towards the Summit.
This is not a Blizzard, but it is an Excellent Refresher/Powder Addition...
...and with the Moderate Westerly Wind, there is also the potential for a
Versant Nord, North Side, Summit/Edge Sectors “Drift-In Alert”!
The Groomed Open Terrain Prediction: EXCELLENT.
The Un-Groommed, Experts Only Terrain Prediction: Very Fine with Cautionary Notes.
The Un-Groomed Experts Only Terrain is also going to be elevated by
this snow, however current "Natural Hazards Advisory” still applies
on an "A la Carte" Basis. Each Individual Un-Groomed Trail Will Require
Caution On Initial Explorations. The New Snow will enhance all Open Terrain,
but it is not enough to bury everything... yet.
Weather Notes:
Very Simple... An Excellent, Snowy, January Winter Day!
-8C, with Overcast and Snowfall All Day.
Westerly Moderate Winds that may create very beneficial Drifting Patterns
in some Sectors, notably, Summit/Nord/North/Edge.
If you are a Regional Resident, Put your Tremblant plans in motion as soon as you can.
The whole Ski/Board Population of the East Coast Of North America has been waiting
for these kinds of conditions and they are here now.
If you are a Global Tremblant Trip Planer....
Relax... Everything’s fine at Tremblant...
