95(*) Open Trails on the Warm, Wind-Blown 4 Sides of #Tremblant @ 5:50 A.M..

----- REVISED TO 67(*) OPEN TRAILS AT 10:16 A.M. ------

There is a tremendous Wind Event currently happening at Tremblant
and it certainly has effected Lift Operations with closure of the Gondola
on Versant Sud, the South Side as the biggest single sample.

-----------------------------------------------
Noon Update: Gondola Running with Passengers on-board.
-----------------------------------------------

It should be noted that at tis time, South Summit Access is still possible
Via Flying Mile Quad and the TGV Quad.

Snow Squall Activity is traversing the area and one T360 fan in attendance today
is calling it “Tapioca”, pellet sized granule’s.

Ambient Ski Conditions are being describes as “Icy” and requiring hard work
at fundamental technique levels as well as an over-riding priority for “SLOW”
in all descents.

Very rare... Mountain Ops moving Groomer/Packers during Open Hours, however,
Extraordinary Times = Extraordinary Measures.

This shot sent to us shows several Groomers at the Old Devils River Fuelling point.
ONE POSSIBILITY... could simply be that Mountain Ops is setting up to have
every machine they can round up a Driver/Operator for, fuelled and ready to
go for a Massive Apres Ski attack over the largest, widest range of regularly
Groomed terrain that could possibly undertaken.

Weather Notes:

Forecast attached below, however experience was somewhat different
and we hope to include additional actual user observations(as some are
noted above), for the sake of the record.

Please Note:
Tremblant360 is temporarily limited to primary data acquisition mode,
as your sole and singular author continues to be under a severe Infulenza
quarantine and the effects of a multi-day 39+ C fever. Sorry about that.
We are not in the habit of complaining, but we feel badly about lack
of content and very much look forward to a return to normal health
and having more energy than a fruit fly in Death Valley.
Thanks for your patience.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
