Another Step up in refined Groomed Quality today...

The increase in the Open Trail Count today indicates two primary advancements
in the Open Terrain array.

1) The absolute numbers of Groomed Trails is increasing and
the repetitive overnight cycles on the pre-existing groomed is
generating finer and finer top surface layers of greater and more
consistent shred depth over the solid substrates.

2) The modest dusting of new fresh snowfall has a stat total
of about 10cm’s over the past 48 hours or so, which has been
enough to re-open some of the un-groomed Experts only terrain.

A review of the Official Open Trails shows re-openings on Soleil, Edge
and North Sectors.

Of all of this, far and away, the biggest benefit to Tremblant Guests
generally will be the point regarding the refinement levels in the Groomed
Terrain. Encounters with “Icy” should be getting fewer and fewer.

Weather Notes:

Starting out at -12 C and rising to a daytime hight temp of -4C by early
afternoon under a primarily Sunny Sky ... Which Hardly Anyone Will
Notice Because Of what we refers to as... The "SUPER-BOWL Discontinuum”
where usually perfectly normal Sports Fans take an entire day off the fine
slopes everywhere to pig-out on Chips, Pretzels, and Beer while watching
teams of grown men trying to give each other concussions, i.e., play Football.

Anyway... the wind is forecast to be light to moderate and from the East, so
rising up P’tit Bonheur and crossing the Summit from Beauchemin towards
Taschereau.

A Gorgeous, Easy Winter Day, A Joy To Be Outdoors On.

Note To Future Tremblant Trip Planers:

Got a February Booked Ski Holiday?

Don’t forget to get “Flu Shot” or for family, “Flu Shots” when offered in Fall Season.
There’s nothing quite as disappointing(if you’re otherwise healthy), than having
all your expectations of a Great Ski Holiday Whipped By The “Flu”!

A Cold You Can Deal With... but when it’s truly more than a cold, Influenza
can give you a high fever, complete loss of discretionary energy and force
you to stay home for a week or more. Mistreated, Influenza can morph into
a pneumonia that can really cause trouble.

Some Winter Ski Holiday Preparations like the Flu Shot, start as far as 5 Months
in advance and can make a world of difference!

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
