T360 Apres Midnight, Apres Ski @ 12:02 A.M.

Good thing we’re not Skiing tonight!

published earlier today(Earlier Versions Recorded Below).

And... We’re Not Alone!!! Record setting Low Overnight Temp’s over the entire
Eastern Half Of North America!

92(*) Open Trails on the Nippy(**), 4 Sides of #Tremblant.
((**)if you think -31C is “Nippy”)

The Ambient Cold may create some “Tension”, but if you can harness your “Emotion”,
Bundle Up and make sure your fingers and toes have “Sensation”, then you can
endure the temp’s and you won’t have any negative “Reaction” when you move
into “Action” for a fine Tremblant “Escapade".

One of the most important Safety messages today is that careful preparation
can vastly reduce any potential harm from exposure to extreme temps. One of
the single largest elements is the complete elimination of any exposed skin.

Severe Cold Weather Warnings Specifically Applicable to Saturday And Sunday.

Caution:

A One or Two Millimetre gap... 1/16 of an inch, like the gap that can occur between
your Helmet and your Goggles... can create a strip of Frostbite in as little as one run
today and tomorrow.

Critical Body Zones For Wrapping and Overlapping Include, but are not limited to:
Head
Neck
Wrists
Waist
Knees
Ankles

Details like this are critically important and if properly taken care of, can allow
you to be comfortable so you can focus on how Excellent the Open, Groomed
Terrain is within all Rated Skill Levels.

A Generalized Anecdotal Weather Note: Compared to last year, when we had
just about 3 weeks of this weather every day(it was the coldest Regional
Winter recorded in Statistical History)... a couple of days of this does not seem
too bad.

The Benefits are the cryogenic rendering of superbly dry, very high mechanical grip
Pure Winter Snow with Zero internal humidity. In our opinion, this Snow has
some of the very finest performance characteristics possible in a Groomed Alpine
Ski/Board environment. To enjoy it, what you need to do is look after those
outer Garment envelop details... BEFORE YOU GO OUT THE DOOR.

Cold Weather 101:

One of the best things you can do for Cold Weather preparation is to
practice dressing inside, and beforehand, so you are fully familiar with
your “System”. You won’t be able to wear it all indoors for long because
you’ll get hot quickly, but the point is, working in advance to get your
Cold Weather “System” in place will not only save you time on days like
today when you need it, but you won’t have to risk any discomfort or
even injury when even the smallest of details in Overlaps or coverings
can make HUGE differences in “Kool" Outdoor Realities.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
