You Can’t See The Skis Because There’s A Metre Of Soft Snow In Every Bump!
For Expo Bump Fans, they can not believe their incredible luck.
Very Rare, Very Exceptional, Very Fine and Very Challenging,
Soft, Forgiving, Phenomenally Deep, Hazard Free, Truly Expert, Powder Moguls!
But Wait... There’s A Lot More...
When 65(*) out of Tremblant’s total 96(*) Trails are GROOMED,
the Overwhelming Majority Of...
Tremblant’s Satin Smooth Snow Surfaces Make You Look Good!

Surprise, Surprise !!!
Just Because... It was so unexpectedly(**) EXCELLENT... from Top-to-Bottom...
A Very Unofficial, but Very Sincere...
“Best Of”, Sector/Trail du Jour Award, Goes To:
Versant Soleil and Tiguidou!!!
This Trail within This Sector was in exactly the right place, with exactly the right
sun exposure, in exactly the right temperatures, with exactly the right grooming,
in exactly the right traffic patterns, with exactly the right base, to yield an
absolutely flawless descent over it’s rated Single Black Diamond Upper entrance
pitch, and Blue, Intermediate, Lower Slopes/Contours
Very, Very, Close to Perfect.

Zoom In On Tiguidou’s Upper Pitch...
Shred This!!!

Above:
Not too Soft... Not too Hard... Just Right for Your Expert Style...
Soft Snow Shreds for either Skidded Side Slipped Turns, or if you have
very short radius Slalom Skis and Incredibly Muscular Quads... Carving
was also possible on Tiguidou’s upper steep section.
Below:
The Lower portion of Tiguidou is a Carvers Paradise. Wide, Even, Consistent Gradient,
and so smooth that driving out those Super-Clean, Deep-Edged, Mega-Carves with
the wee bit of Speed coming off the pitch... took your breath away with sheer Exhilaration
for every turn of its remaining descent down to its intersection with Toboggan.

Tremblant’s Signature Sunny Day Views Are Icing On The Cake!
(**)Of course it’s not unexpected to find Excellence in just about all the Groomed Terrain
when there’s this much snow and the finest Grooming Team in Eastern Canada, but in
a way, that makes this little Soleil/Tiguidou quality acknowledgement even more special.
Within the Vast Array of yesterdays almost universally excellent Groomed Terrain,
Tiguidou simply jumped out and Screamed “Carve Me” at a performance consistency
level that was somehow, intangibly, but never-the-less... “Best Of”.
It just goes to show you that even though practically the whole Mountain is fabulous
beyond words... there are still “Sweet Spots” within that Lofty Reference.

The Bottom Line on Conditions for the Whole Weekend...
A Very Fine 2 Day Extension of Friday’s Total Tremblant Coverage,
with Temperature rises for both Saturday and Sunday getting up
near Freezing, but...
With Completely Undisturbed Coverage due to the very solidly
Cold Overnights and an Overwhelmingly Stable Base.
Weather Notes:
Today’s Essentials:
One Day At A Time? ...
We want to focus on the very positive attributes of Today, however, there is
an Elephant In The Weather Forecast Room... for next week. We had several
questions already on that yesterday, and before anyone planing to attend next
week starts to panic... don’t.
March includes the arrival of “Spring”. It is Normal, Common, Regular, Typical,
Usual, Frequent, and Totally Understandable that there will be cyclical increases
and decreases in Temperatures around the Freezing Mark.
In the case of this Season, and More Specifically the last 3 Weeks... roughly
2 Metres, 6 1/2 Feet Of New Snow means that within the realm of Mother Natures
average March Conditions(but within this Unofficial Record Short Time and Huge Natural
Snow Accumulations),... this 2016 Tremblant “Spring” Season will have a most
unusual resilience in Both the Coverage and the Quality because of the Retained,
Compressed, and Finely Groomed, Dramatically Deeper Base.
We will explain more on our theories on why we don’t think you’ll see much in the
way of terrain coverage loss over the next several weeks tomorrow morning, but
in the mean-time, don’t panic if you’re worried about next week... and bonus X 2...
There will be Fabulous Spring Skiing, some of the Best Ever, maybe, PLUS...
you won’t have to worry about being Frozen Cold!
Did We Mention The Views?
This is Vertige, Trail # 13, and if you appreciate the challenge of Steepness,
you may “Fall” in Love over Vertige, but for sure, you’ll love the views that are
all the more dramatic due to the radical slope you look over.

It’s a Sunny Weekend Day in the Quebec Winter School Break...
After Several Blizzards, the “News” Travels Fast!
Things are going to be Busy and There will be Lift Lines...
so take a deep breath, be patient, and Enjoy Those Views!
