(Revised Open Trail Data(raw format) attached below.)

When they Talk about how the “Winter Of 2015/16” ended up...
Any March 27th that looks like this... is a Good One.

There was Very Fine Terrain for all Skill Levels however as the Sun
and Warm Air combined, quite a bit of traffic migrated to the North
where there were still reasonably quick surfaces on the afternoon
shaded Trail Sides.

By The End Of The Day....

Expo’s steep pitch was full softened and in a sense, Expo then becomes “Easy”
with very high drag/friction acting as a brake, plus the super-soft moguls that
can be skied almost directly into, without much kick-back as they sort-of “Mush-Out"

Tomorrow may be considerably different... There is up to 20 some-odd mm.
rain forecast, however it is a one day only weather glitch and the frost underneath
is acting as a barrier so-far, so we do not feel there will be any big losses of
Groomed Terrain although things could get On/Off Icy for a while...

The possibility exists that at the + 4 C South Base temp., the Mountain could
see Summit/North Air Masses Sub-Zero and Snow???

Get out your Descente Poncho just in case.

You Can Do This All Day At Tremblant...

And the reason you can do it all day over such an extensive variety of
Excellent(for any March 27th), is this:

Please Note: Re Above: The Ski could have been pushed further into
the Snow depth here, but the density of the layers below the surface
jammed into the downward pointed Ski Brake Assembly(which you can
see on the horizontal Ski) and we did not want to bend or force the Brake
backwards any farther. The Ski Poles pictured are 122 CM’s/48 Inches in length.

Additionally... even though it briefly got up to +3 C/37 F. at the Summit, it did not
reach that level until late in the day and one of our most significant indicators...
"Snow In The Trees”, or in this case, “Ice In The Trees”(from Friday’s overnight
13 Cm’s Snow with an Icing coat of Freezing Rain), was still largely intact at
Summit Levels well after 5:00 P.M.(**)

In the above photo, you can see the Icy Tree coating as a frosty white accent
that has survived the Heat of the Day. This Icy coating is subjected to Ambient
Air Temps from 360 Degrees and it has No Insulation, so it is very sensitive
to Heat Exposure and thaws/melts within minutes when so exposed. Some of
what you see here is thawed on the South/West Sun Facing Side, but the Shaded
side has just enough shelter to keep it’s “Cool”!

The Real Benefit indicated by "Snow In The Trees”.

While the trees are uninsulated...

The Open Groomed Alpine Snow Sports Trail Network is.

The Open Groomed Trail Network has the very powerful insulating assist of the
whole seasons Frost below to support its stability at the surface and this protective
force will take weeks and weeks to eventually dissipate. Snow in the Trees is
an indicator that the Trail Surfaces have not yet seen any significant current thaw
factors and is therefore a sign of enduring Base and Surface Quality.

With the Sun and Daytime High today, this will probably disappear as it’s forecast
to get hotter, earlier than yesterday by a couple of hours, but in our opinion, it will
have no effect on the Trail Coverage what-so-ever.

(**) Tremblant management Extended Open Hours To 5:00 P.M.
and just about everyone in attendance was Overjoyed! Merci Tremblant!
