Light Crowds, But Very Enthusiastic! Late Spring tends to bring out the most
dedicated Ski/Board Fans so the Skill Level in average attendance today was
“Advanced” to “Expert” for the most part, however... Conditions Across All
Skill Levels, from Beginners up... Make YOU Look Good!

“Pure Winter” Surfaces Today and for the next few...

We define “Pure Winter Conditions” as those that are the result of:

Consecutive 24 Hour, Sub-Zero C(under 32’F), Daily Temps On The Mountain, and...

...have More than One Overnight Grooming Cycles of Refined Skiable
Top Layers, which Do Not Have Any Current “Thermal” or Thaw Influence.

It is very unusual to have those consecutive, ‘round the clock Sub-Zero’s in April.

And it looks like Tremblant may have them until at least Thursday, and possibly
for the whole week if the forecast returns to the lower temp values as indicated
by the projections for the past several days.

There may be some slightly softened “Spring” today, particularly in direct Sun-Facing
Trails, depending on actual daytime high temps and wind combinations, but there
is no doubt that it is going to be an exceptional day of very fine Skiing and Boarding
from any seasonal standpoint of technical merit.

((**) The “Thursday” forecast portion has changed to above freezing/light rain
Icons, but Thursday is a long way off in Weather terms, so it could all change
up or down by then. Recent Actual Variations have been mostly colder than forecast
so all we can do is hope that cooler pattern happens again.)

Conditions Note:

Progressive Openings(*) on Versant Sud, South Side, may indicate
Initial Icy portions anticipated to Soften to Safe Opening Spec’s
under mid-day Solar Energy exposure and are Pending Ski Patrol
certifications.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
