When you’re riding up the Gondola, surrounded by swirling snow...
and the Summit’s invisible, with even more swirling snow...
You’re going to need to get the best, the latest, the most accurate...
Trail, Lift, Conditions info.possible...
Here’s the best way to do that...
Tremblant’s Super Friendly, Super Knowledgable “Info.Ski” Crews
are out in full force and have all the latest Trail Status by Radio
Control, so you can rely on having the newest Info. as soon
and as often as you get to the Summit.
When you’re interested in how the day went...
what conditions were really like, and what’s going on...
Here’s one way to do that:
It was indeed a very Snowy Day and our T360 Apres Ski,
is posted below as “Reply”(under construction at 9:30 P.M.),
and will have the essential detail.

5(*) Open Trails on the White Winter Snow Covered Slopes of #Tremblant.
Here’s a Sample of what we did Opening Day...
It was Fun To Go Fast At Tremblant yesterday, and today will be a repeat.
New Open Terrain: Beauchemin Haut, Upper.
The addition of Beauchemin Haut is only 1 Trail on the Stat’s page, but..
it is a HUGE expansion of the open acreage because of its length and width.
Yesterdays covered acreage number was 14, today’s covered acreage is 52.
We are not sure about the exact width of finished Trail surface on Beauchemin
yet, but never-the-less, it does reflect a very big commitment to resources
to produce such a large finished surface area.
A very tangible benefit to that is the reduction of Skier/Board Traffic density
as everyone gets to spread out over a much larger space. Fun and Safety
should be enhanced for all skill levels. Arguably, one of the biggest benefits
will be to Beginners as P’tit Bonheur will be spared some of the Bump-forming
High Performace Ski/Board traffic, and consequently there should be less in the
way of mogul/bump formations.
The Overnight Snowfall has been periodic. It is a very light, dry, dust-like
snow and accumulation is +/- a CM or 2, but it will contribute to good cushion,
fair speed, and enhanced integration with the somewhat chunky nature of initial
trail openings that have solid elements broken up in the first grooming cycles.
While there are not much in the way of long, panoramic vistas to shoot,
the close-hand scenery is spectacular Black/White Winter owing to the very
fine natural snow particle size that is effectively bonding to everything it
contacts.
We are very surprised and impressed with the numbers of absolute Beginners
out for First Tracks this Opening.
Lessons are going on in obvious large numbers and we can’t think
of a better place to start than right here.
Beginners and Intermediates need to know that those who learn well at Tremblant,
can Ski/Board well anywhere in the World.
Mum’s and Dad’s need to know that when Little Johnny or Little Jill learn here
at Tremblant, you can take them anywhere, and they’ll be at the head of their
class where-ever you go.
The exceptional Technical Merit of Tremblant as a learning environment,
combined with the High Standards of Ski/Board teaching here will make
you a better Skier, a better Boarder, skills you can take with you from this
point forward.
Where Are You From? :
Kansas City, Missouri... Boston, Halifax, Scranton, PA, Belleville, Ontario,
Puerto Rico, Trenton, New Jersey... just samples of Chairlift anecdotes from yesterday.
As usual... Tremblant attracts keen Winter Alpine Snow Sports Fans
from many far-away places, but there are many, many Americans
up for a Snowy Tremblant Thanksgiving Holiday and we wish you all
a very Happy Thanksgiving!
