After Seeing “Star Wars” Last Week, we were a bit concerned to see the Death Star
coming into range over Earth so soon. We understood it was actually on the other
side of Space, but the current evidence suggest otherwise.

You Need To Keep Your Eye On Tremblant!
Oh Yeah... Conditions Are That Good.
They’re So Good You Want To “Look Into”...
Skiing/Boarding Tremblant as Soon, and as Often as Possible!
Regarding the Open Groomed Terrain...
One of the most surprising aspects of the Conditions over the past 2 days has been
the quickness with which Mountain Crews have been able to Pack/Groom the 73cm’s/2.5ft
into the base at density levels that have been Mogul Resistant.
Normally, it takes a couple of days as all the “Fluffiness”, for lack of a better term,
usually needs multiple Grooming cycles to compress, but yesterday saw very fine
density in all the main areas and that lasted right up to "Last Run”.
Another aspect of the Groomed Terrain is the impressive level of increase in
Speed the surfaces support when it comes to either “Glide" or “Skate” actions.
These performance attributes have been consistently very good on a daily basis
all along, but when you hit the slopes “Today” and you notice more “Glide”
sustain than “Yesterday”, it’s that relative difference you notice immediately on
your First Run. In this case, it’s quite likely those increases are due to a combination
of low friction dryness from “Cool” and additional surface density from Grooming,
but what you feel is a little “Wow” when a small Skate action takes you all the way
across a plateau with almost no effort at all.
Regarding The Hors Piste, Sous Bois, Glade and all other Un-Groomed Open Terrain:
The Natural Snowfall of the past week, including the most recent 73cm’s/2.5ft,
has been a “Game Changer” In some, but not all areas due to Mid-Week Wind Induced
sheltered Drift-In accumulations, or facing Wind-Blown exposures.
There Are Un-Tracked 150cm’s, 160cm’s and Who Knows How Many Cm’s Drift Lines
in the Hors Piste, Sous Bois, Glade Zones Of Tremblant Right This Second.
Tremblant360 "Proof Of Snow":
Skis Are 160 Cm’s Atomic Beta-Race SL 9’s. Poles are 122cm’s/48in Kerma's
Probably could have pushed Skis under, but TOO MUCH SNOW jamming Ski Brake Arms.
Care and Caution Are Still REQUIRED in Un-Groomed Areas, BUT...
it’s more of a sector based thing now, as much of the Versant Nord,
North Side Summit Level has over 120 Cm’s Drift-In over what was there before.
It’s not hard to see the overall effects of such Massive Snow Accumulations
as you get a very close look on the way up to the Summit on any lift.
There are also some Wind-Blown Exposed Areas... as you can see here directly below
Summit Gondola Tower # 23.
