Conditions 4/08/09

Post by T360 »

.

Today saw a repeat of yesterdays weather pattern, in that the SNOW
continued, the summit remained well below zero, and the lower elevations
got to just above freezing.

We had 40 some odd open trails and Great Spring conditions.

As the summit will likely remain sub-zero for the next 2 days or
so, these fabulous late season closing week conditions are going
to remain stable.

If you are "Waffling" about coming out, don't. Load your gear into
the vehicle and head for the Mountain.

We are still quite a bit ahead of the 10 year average for this date and
runs like Bansai are quite possibly better right now than they might
typically be at the end of Feb.

Looking from Summit over toward Duncan, the graphic evidence of the SNOW in the trees should be more than enough to motivate you to get out !

Sorry for late report, but was "In Transit” and
playing "Catch Up" for much of the day.
