Honest-To-Goodness... we can’t stop marvelling at this absolutely Brilliant
Move shown above by Mountain Crews at Tremblant. It’s like some Giant
Hand From Ski Heaven reached out and Waved A Magic Wand, Cutting,
Snowing-In, and Groom-Shaping a Virtually Perfect Descent Line that on
Technical Merit Alone... Is An Instant New “Favourite”! After Decades of Tremblant
Seasons, The Mountain Can Still Surprise!
The only reason we get to write about the High Points like Le Tunnel is the
accumulation of Natural Snow that has been falling at various degrees of
intensity since about November 7th or so. With a handful of exceptions,
i.e., a few “Sunny Days”, it’s basically been Snowing at Tremblant for over
2 months.
All the Grey, Snowy days have frequently made for very challenging Photography,
but unquestionably fine Skiing typified by surface smoothness and edge-set depth
that has facilitated the kind of Carving Performance you can see in the Trail Sample
shown below.
Smoothness, Traction And Speed Have Been The Hallmarks
Of Performance This Season So Far.
