96(*) Projected Open Trails Subject To Morning Confirmations.
Very Early 2:23 A.M. Start due to Site Logistics Day.
Feature On Erik Guay, Local Tremblant Person and...
World Cup 2017, Gold Medal, World Champion, Super G.
Erik Guay Proves That When Life Throws You Curves,
You Can Come Out A Winner If You Do A Few Turns Of Your Own.
By conventional standards of Global Gold Medal Athletic Performance Winners
Average Age... Erik Guay is Mature. Many, if not most, Globally recognized
Gold Medals go to Athletes between say, 17 to 27 Years of age, in some cases
like Olympic Gymnastics, even younger? At Age 35, Eric Guay is therefore,
and very clearly, demonstrating the potential of combining Skills and Experience
for winning outcomes in Athletes above the average age.
The “Moral” Of The Erik Guay Story Is:
Above Average Age is No Restriction To Above Average Performance.
This is a vitally important point equally applicable to all Skiers and Snowboarders
up the Age Ladder in the General Public, who seek to remain at peak levels of
personal physical condition and capability.
The “Inspiration” Of The Erik Guay Story Is:
Above Average Age is No Restriction To Above Average Performance.

Sunny!, Cool Morning, Sunny!, but Easy mid-Day Temps up to -4C., Sunny!
Well, at least that’s the forecast....

Anyone who is a regional/local Tremblant Fan is going to be able to confirm
that the Weather forecasting models have not always been correct in terms of “Sunny”.
On a purely anecdotal basis, there seem to have been a lot of “Bright” forecasts
that have ended up “Grey”, and then the the real “Bright Side” of the story
has been the snowfall that seems to have been going on more-or-less, on
all the Grey Days since November. We are only 11cm’s/4, 1/4inches away
from breaking the 500cm’s Natural Snowfall Stat. Absolutely amazing for Mid-Feb.
It will be wonderful to see the sun and if it does come out in all it’s glory,
the scenery will be spectacular with all the contrast between the Blue Sky
and the Snow-Crusted Trees and distant Snow White Slopes.
Who Needs Stairs?

There’s So Much Snow At Tremblant,
We Just Walk Across The Handrails...
We Think The Big Story Today Is Going To Be... “Refinement”.
With a small break in the ongoing Snowfall pattern, Mountain Crews
Grooming efforts last night should produce some truly Excellent
Pure Winter Groomed Conditions, i.e., surfaces that have no recent
thermal influence and are 99% All Snow, All Fast, All Smooth
and Very, Very Close To Glitch Free.
If you believe the forecast, it may be the last, or second last to tomorrow,
Pure Winter opportunity for while, as the current models suggest a possibility
of “warm” and “Damp” for upcoming days.
This could also be a legitimate candidate for “Best Day Of Season So-Far”...
if... all the potential Co-Factors line up between the synergistic combination
of Mother Nature and Mountain Crews. At Least, the possibility exists for today
to be one of the top 4 or 5 days of the season when you consider all the
positive elements that are out there now.
Great Snow, Great Coverage, Great Grooming!
2.16.17.Sud.South.McCulloch.Upper.Pitch.Left.Side.Descent.f.jpg
Above: We think you’ll find Trails Like McCulloch As Smooth As A Billiard Table
this morning and the All-Day Mogul Resistant Flatness should be there to a
greater degree with another night’s Packing/Grooming compression.
Weather Notes:
96(*) Open Trails on the Archival Copy of Official Open Trails,
Grooming, Snowmaking, Lift Status and Mountain Conditions

There’s a TON of Snow at Tremblant...
Mountain Crews Have Optimized Terrain Potential
and the Base is in Excellent Wall-To-Wall Condition
over an exceptional Square Area.
If You Can, You Should Go.
More following as time permits.
Don’t Wait, Go Skiing Immediately.
Today and tomorrow could be the last
Pure Winter Days for a while...
