Like yesterday...

There will be continued Wind Force rising up the Mountain in this
location above that may seem strong enough at times to push the
humans around passing through the area.

It’s actually an appropriate use of the overused word “Awesome”,
in the sense that when you feel this force, and realize a sensation
that might be similar to riding on the nose of a 747 coming in for
a landing, you simply, and very quickly understand that Mother
Nature holds all the Trump Cards in the game of seasonal variations.

Despite the additional Dressing necessary to handle heat loss in extreme
cold weather, our experience has led us to appreciate what this dose of
cold means to the forward moving “Momentum” of what remains of Winter.

In this, and almost every other case like it, the weather is not restricted
to Tremblant either, as this abnormally harsh weather is affecting much
of the Central and North East areas of the Continent... It’s Snowing in
Nashville Tennessee today, Winds on Canada’s East Coast have been recorded
at over 160 KMPH today, ...and it’s not over yet.
A massive Winter Snow Storm
System is moving eastward over the central Great Lakes Region and it is the next
stage of evolving seasonal weather activity that will effect Tremblant to one
degree or another.

Weather Notes:

Wind Chill Potential:

Don’t forget to add Descent Speed PLUS Max. Headwind Gusts
COMBINED as Total Airspeed for Range of Wind Chill Values.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
