92(*) Open Trails On the Initially Frosty, and Warming Up 20 Degrees C, Slopes of #Tremblant.

------------------ 8:45 A.M Update ------------------

Revised to 94(*) Open Trails, data attached below.

----------------------------------------------------------

The Initially Frosty Part Starts out at -20C, and ends up forecast
for Mid-Aft. at the Warm Part, Zero C, under a brilliantly Sunny Sky.

This Is One Of Our Favourite “Goto” Groomed Conditions Forecast Pic’s,
and it is EXACTLY what we predict you are going to find this morning at Tremblant...

Conditions today should be all of Excellent across
the entire array of Open Groomed Terrain. Period.

Furthermore, with an overnight low of -21C, the very frosty temp set
into the top layers should in effect, generate a refrigerated momentum
for the day that should be resistant to softening much beyond the
depth of those top layers. As the daytime high temp is indicated at
Zero C for the Sud, South Resort Base Level, we also think that the
cooler Mountain elevations should continue throughout at just below Zero C.

Weather Notes:

What we continue to like about the Forecast Models is
the below average daily high temp’s of the 2 week projections.
No doubt, “Spring” is literally upon us with the Official start date of
March 21st, so we are very, very thankful for every moment of “Below Average”,
quite simply because anything that helps preserve Surface coverage is a
big asset when the days finally come that Mother Nature decides to really
turn up the heat.

Three days ago, an "Alberta Clipper”, a very fast moving System from the west
was forecast to cross our Region and a review of the weather notes from
then will show snowfall icons we hoped we’d see today. Mother Nature had
other ideas though, and by yesterday it became quite apparent that the system
was going to make a right turn just to the west of Tremblant near Ottawa, and
we had prepared this graphic below to add to yesterdays coverage.
Some sort of distraction on our part resulted in not adding it, so we are putting it
in here because it illustrates a classic case of why we label just about all of our
weather data with “if...”, and it does apply to today anyway.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
