Todays Conditions should morph into Primo Spring Skiing.

We think it’s safe to say that if you choose terrain matched
to your realistic Skill Level, you probably can not make any
mistakes. If you find any trail selection too hard, you are not
matching Skills to Terrain as these Spring conditions can be
some of the most “Forgiving” known to/within any Skill Levels.

Of Course... Going from Sub-Zero to Plus... means you should
have the “Edges” in place to handle the potential firm or icy bits.
Looking forward to tomorrow, the “Edges” advisory applies equally,
maybe more, as everything is going to be at least “Firm”.

Please Note: “Firm” is not necessarily “Icy”. Grooming conducted
after the temp drop below zero resolidifies things, usually renders out
superbly carve-able top layers at Tremblant. With the Post-Holiday,
Mid-Week, light traffic, those optimized top layers should last all day
on Wed.

Weather Notes:

Today... “Spring”, Tomorrow... Flashback to “Winter”!

We can hear the whining now... Not more KKkold... Again?!?!?!

Yes, it’s true... after Mother Nature delivers a one day, very much
Spring Day, we have a definite 48 hour return to Winter Conditions.

WE Rejoice! Why, You Ask?... 95(*) Open Trails!!! That’s Why!

You just don’t get to keep this number of Open Trails
moving towards the last week of March without the logistical
support of "Covered and Cool"!

Please Note:
This is a very localized, brief, intense, type of precipitation, typically.
We would not expect it to deliver more than a low single digit accumulation
but we could be wrong. In any event, Snow Squalls can generate brief
“White Out” conditions that can be disorienting and make driving
extremely hazardous. High wind speeds with swirling dense snowfall
should be avoided if possible. If you pull over, do not pull over on the
roadside where confused drivers could wander off road edges in blinding
snow and hit you. If possible, find a driveway, side road, parking area or
other safe place, completely off the road to wait for the active Squall to pass.

Slightly Below Average Temp’s, plus Way Above
Average Base Accumulations and Snowfall Totals...

Indicates Spring Conditions of typical very high quality,
but over a wider, and more durable array of Open
Groomed Terrain across all Skill Levels.

Very Good Reasons To Get Back To Tremblant!

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
