Superb, Easy, Performance For One and For All!!
This is an important 2 Pic. “Proof Of Snow” because
it requires a close examination of the details in order
to fully appreciate this part of the real picture at Tremblant.
First The Overall View:
Secondly, The Detail:
The detail that’s significant is that there are two ski poles.
The one on the right has about a foot above the surface,
which we left up to show relative scale. The one on the left
is only a few inches away, but it is difficult to see because
it is pushed into the snow to a depth equal to it’s total height,
which is 48 Inches, 120cm’s, and we could have pushed it lower,
but it would not be visible, so we left it here. So, at this place
immediately adjacent to the Lowell Thomas Trail, even after
the past two weeks of On/Off warm, there is over 4 feet of snow
in the bush.
This is the Natural Snow Ambiance That Forms
The Foundation Of Tremblant’s Remarkable Late
March Conditions... INCLUDING Today’s Snow.
And... So Far, Off/On, It’s Still Snowing!!!
A Very Meaningful Natural Snowfall Addition and Enhancement
To Base and Surface Layers That Has Instantly Elevated Easy Performance
For All Tremblant Guests... Beginners To Expert!
Tomorrow: Sunny, -5C to start, rising to +2C by shortly after lunch.
Light, North Breezes coming up the Mountain over the top of Nansen.
There is every good reason to think tomorrow could be a Spectacular
Spring Skiing Day!

“Phenomenal Carving Performance! Just Did 2 High Speed
Carving Runs On Taschereau With Over 7cm's Inches Of Fresh
So Far And Its Still Snowing Hard!”
------------------------------------------------------------
After the last Warm to Cool Cycle, the Skiing and Boarding
have been technically more demanding as the firmness in
the surfaces is not quite so forgiving. Basically, as soon as
either gravitational or turning forces exceed grip levels, you
found yourself skidding down or across, so control inputs
need to be gradually and smoothly applied in order to
retain edge-set against shallow or firm top layers.
We are very thankful that Mountain Crews have been able to
keep as much in soft, navigable top layers as they have.
Arguably even more importantly, Mountain Crews have been
able to maintain the overall Smoothness within all Groomed
Terrain, and that offsets the Spring thaw/freeze cycles to a
very great extent, despite Mother Natures weather whims.
The Fresh New Snowfall of today is going to rapidly accelerate
turning performance throughout Open Hours. Anyone fortunate
enough to be here today will realized a significant increase in
the range of grip that can be applied over both Pitch Angle and
Higher Speeds without loss of traction.
Basically, you will have far more "mechanical advantage”...

At Ground Levels Adjacent to South Resort Base,
the winds are light, so the Snowfall is so-far
a direct deposit on surfaces. We hope to see
that exact pattern on the Mountain as well.
