4/4/17 #Tremblant Conditions

T360 Middle of The Night Shift Apres Ski Edit @ 2:15 A.M.
No Doubt, it was quite wet out there today.
The skiing was still technically fine, as we explain below...
We were able to get a few pic's on Sissy Schuss
and Fuddle-Duddle initially because we drove
Nord, and at that time, the descent path using
Upper Sissy Schuss to lower Fuddle Duddle
was briefly dry.
At the time Sissy Schuss was dry, there was also
a brightening in the cloud overhead and it looked ‘like
it could show Sun?, but no...
The Skiing was exactly as we expected, Excellent Shredding
High Performance Carving Snow with immense Grip and
Lateral Edge Hold, as can clearly be seen herein.
Airborne Jump Turns... into soft snow that “Banks”
on each carve, renders thrilling performance!
On the Sud, South, mostly Rain
On the Nord, North, A sort-of Frozen-Sleet Pellet
that was borderline Snow from Base, right up to
the Summit Off-load of the Duncan Quad.
In the body of the Orig. post below, we wrote:
"There’s even small possibilities of Snow?”
Whatever the North was getting, it was not Rain.
You can see it in the Trees below, and on the Trails,
Above.
Whatever the Nord and Summit were getting, Body Temperature
was more than enough to turn it into water almost as soon as it hit,
so the Descente Poncho was once again, invaluable in keeping oneself
dry. It worked flawlessly. The Camera, on the other hand, got soaked
and went into Default Safety Shut-Down Mode the first time we had
it out at the Summit.
Tomorrow:
Cloudy/Rainy Morning, clearing and partially Sunny afternoon???
Please Note: Revised Open Trail data to 53(*) Open Trails, Attached below.

Currently, the Wind is Off/On, Howling like a Lonely Wolf.
Weather Notes:
The Size/Amount of Rain Icons Indicates Intensity Expected, and
this has changed in the forecast over the past handful of hours, so
the Afternoon now looks more User Friendly. However... with Temp’s
so close to Zero C, there are many, many Wild Cards at Cooler
Mountain Elevations. There’s even small possibilities of Snow?

These are the days you give thanks for all those Beautifully
Deep Cold, Super Snowy, Early Season Days, as all current
Tremblant Guests are directly benefitting now from the
durability of the Base and the Active Supporting Frost still
in Mountain Substrates.
Basically, Still Winter Coverage with Spring Snow and some
currently minor, emerging natural hazard zones on lower elevations.
These are the kinds of Lower Elevation glitches
we’re seeing as Spring advances. Not a Damn Thing
you can do to avoid Earth tilting towards the Sun!
We’re just so, so, so lucky to still have the near-winter
coverage on almost all the Mountains Elevations.(**)
