straight into Lowell Thomas Sector, Trail-Side Snow.
This Ski pole is 48” (inches) or 122 Cm’s, So In
This Location, on this Date, there are Snowpack
Contours over 4 Feet deep. Absolutely Amazing
for this date!
((**)Please Note: Trail-side Tree Debris in above
Proof of Snow is visible because it has been there
all along from every windy Snow Storm, but does
not melt as snow recedes, leaving it on the surface.
It is a mixture of very soft Fur Tree needles, fallen
leaves and shredded bark that is completely harmless
and a very healthy part of Mother Natures natural
composting process that can be found everywhere
in the seasonal cycles of a healthy forest.)

but within a short time, traffic generated tracked-up
surfaces become normal. Fortunately... it stays all-day
smooth, which you can see below on this P’tit Bonheur

Terrain attached to the Lowell Thomas Sector has gotten
the advantage of some of the Mountains deepest surviving
Natural Snowpack from an entire Winter of accumulated
Drift-In, where there are still contours with up to 100cm’s
of depth.
Le Tunnel, Trail #66 is a Classic Example.

snowfall weight and were there all along. They don’t melt off
with the Snow, so they get left on top, but they are dry and
most fall apart on contact as they are small, brittle and fragile.
You don’t even feel them as you ski through, and they do not
damage ski bases at all.
