You’re Gunna Flip Out When You
Find Out How Good Tremblant Is...
12.3.17.Sud.South.Alpine.Park.Progression.Air.Time.a.jpg(#)
No Kidding... You’ll Flip Out when you get to Tremblant and find out
what you’ve been missing.
Judged by the Snow Accumulations, Great Conditions,
the number of Open Trails...
It just feels like sometime in January around here...
If you’re a Regional Person within a 3Hr+/- One-Way drive and you
have not made it to Tremblant yet, we suspect you’re either not a very
dedicated Skier/Boarder, or.... you fell on some Ice in front of the Mall
at Yourtown, and it’s impossible because your leg is broken...
Otherwise, there’s no real excuse for missing this Legitimately Historic
Sequence of Early Season Opening Days.
More Apres Ski to follow, posted below as “Reply” by around 11:30 P.M.
(#) This is one of several Spontaneous Alpine Progression Park shots
we got with a very good, and co-operative group of Park Test Pilots.
We appreciate their participation and if we see ‘em again, we’ll try again.
Todays somewhat snowy, overcast, grey light makes for challenging
photography, especially action shots, but their Air-Time Skills are
obvious and it was a thrill for us to attempt capturing the moments!
We’ll publish more during the week as we have time to process them,
so stay tuned for more of these in the following days.

---------- End Of This Feature, we hope to get to Alpine today... ----------
Weather Notes:
Todays Conditions Notes Have The Benefit Of This
“Last Run” Shot From Yesterday...
Conditions Notes:
Speed, Glide, Traction and Smoothness are all Hallmarks
of the current Tremblant Alpine Snow Sports Trail Network
that is literally at Historic Levels of Open Square Area
and unprecedented, universal Quality of coverage.
It is a rare and extraordinary privilege to be at Tremblant now.
To our knowledge, we have NEVER had this much, at this quality,
ever before at this date.
Small Caveat(s)...
It’s the first Regular Season Weekend and with the Traffic there
have were some small reveals of Icy Substrates during the course
of the days use yesterday. Overnight Grooming should, of course,
alleviate those, but the possibility exists they may become evident
again today. We urge Caution with Speed on Explorations before
you go Ripping around, and we also recommend you leave extra
manoeuvring space where Mixed Skill Levels use the same space.
Beginners or New Guests Unfamiliar with the Open Terrain or
Racers-In-Training can make unpredictable directional or speed changes
without notice.
Otherwise, and specific to today, with temp’s possibly rising to +3C at the Resort
Base, the likelihood is that there will be softness in surfaces. We would expect
that to result in some exceptional High Performance Carving. Edge-Set
in Snow(including Last Nights Snowfall), with just a touch of warm softness
Shreds Beautifully and can hold tremendous turning energy. Looking forward
to a Great Day, hope to see you there!

If you’re a Regional Ski/Board “Enthusiast” and you could be
on the Slopes at Tremblant, but have not yet been out...
You Are Crazy.
Immediately get your Priorities Straight,
Change your plans this instant, and
Leave Whatevertown as soon as you can...
If You Live In Basingstoke, Hampshire, England...
Or Syracuse, New York, USA...
The Good News Is That Whenever You Can Get Here,
You Can Look Forward To Your Trip With The Knowledge
That This Is Already A Record Setting Season!
