Thank Goodness For Normal.

Todays Weather Notes are probably not going to make
any Headlines anywhere else but here, but non-the-less
we fully intend to celebrate the prospects of “Normal”
when Mother Nature decides to retreat the Polar Vortex.

“Normal”, in the broad sense of more even and
consistent depth in the top layers of Groomed Trail
Surfaces, should also be developing as it has now
been several days since the recent “Thermal Event”
that was responsible for the decrease in Open Terrain.

Obviously, more natural Snowfall would be an ideal way
to get back to that dimension of “Normal”, so until we
see that happen, we, and everyone else at every Ski Resort
in Eastern North America... will have to be content with
making the best of the remaining pre-existing base.

That’s where the Tremblant Difference is going to be.

We do not think there is any Team that can Optimize Surface
Quality as quickly or to the degree that Tremblant Mountain Op’s can.
All the accumulated experience since 1938 will now become
evident in the continuing rapid and expanding scope of overall
Groomed Trail Surface Quality.

We would like to point out that regardless of weather, Every Single
Day has Excellence within it. Period. The differences lie in the amounts
when Mother Nature throws weather curves at Humans, so what “Normal”
gets us now is the ratio of excellence to the total square area of open terrain.

Weather Notes:

Ahhhh.... “Normal” !!!

There’s Nothin’ We Don’t Like In This Forecast!!!

Humans have been fascinated by the weather since
they could look upwards. We certainly fall into the
category of ardent Weather Watchers because of the
total reliance Alpine Winter Snow Sports has for both
utility and enjoyment, so we are thrilled by the prospects
of such an Easy Winter Outlook as this one has now become.

Please accept our apologies for very late start today.
“Chores” and other Out Of Office tasks pile up
every once in a while...

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
