Thanks to a very large storm system,
that has moved off to the East overnight...
Tremblant Has Something Exceptional For Everyone!
2 Pic’s Above:
We’ve pulled 2 of the recent Tremblant Conditions
“Best Of” file pic’s to illustrate our forecast potential
for today, and we hope to prove the point again at
Apres Ski later today with scene’s of today that capture
the accuracy of those projections.
All this fantastic Tremblant Alpine Ski Action is brought
to you by “Mother Nature”...

Please note: Unexpected Site Admin. Utilities required
mid-day corrective efforts so we were unable to attend
on the Mountain today. Sorry about that...
Please see attached Web Cam Composite Conditions Observations
with Time/Data as noted within each.

Temp’s held within a 2C range during the bulk of Open Hours,
ending up at -18C. The wind presented extra challenge, for sure,
when you see the Summit flag straight out, it definitely qualifies
as “Breezy”.
2.8.20.Web.Cam.3.32.PM.Composite.Conditions.Observations.a.jpg
The cold continues for tonight, perhaps reaching down a degree or two
below todays early temp’s. The best part of tomorrow will be the afternoon
as the passing weather draws in vastly warmer conditions by noon, rising
up to a forecast -10C. Way, way easier, so we’re suggesting a late Brunch,
start when the heat begins to work in, and take advantage of Last Run at
3:45 for a full day that ain’t quite so Kkkool.
---------------- End of Insert -----------------
When The Weather Is The News...
Weather Notes:
Here’s the “KKkkkool” Part... today and tomorrow...
(#)The next 36 hours are a legitimate Cold Weather Warning period.
This situation is complicated by the indicated wind speed that
is going to generate significant wind chill values into the -35C
range, notwithstanding Skiers/Boarders forward descent velocity
that could increase the net air-speed equivalent.
Use Extreme Caution With Young Children.
It will all be over by Lunch Hour tomorrow when temps will
be back up to more seasonally usual norms at -10C, then going
higher from there into early week’s beginning on Monday.
Conditions Notes:
Technically, the Skiing should be all of “Fantastic” across
all Skill Levels and categories of rated terrain.
This is Cold-Shocked, Cryogenic, “Squeaky”(when you walk on it),
super high performance, light, dry, Eastern Powder and it has
exceptional performance quality of unique excellence when either
Groomed or au Natural. Period.
Obviously, the trick to enjoying that is going to be dress
systems of layers, and/or supplementary heat forms like
battery powered boot, hand, or torso warming devices, that
can all be combined to overcome thermal loss.
Of course... You don’t need to spend anything to deal with
cold weather if you simply take more or longer warming
breaks inside. That’s what chalets are for! Hot Chocolate Time!!!
