Great news for all Tremblant Winter Sports Fans!
The Snow guns are running at the Summit.

One of the most significant reasons this is important today is that the Tremblant Mountain Crews have evaluated all the weather factors and determined that there is a good chance that they can make this snow "stick".
In the interests of efficient use of manpower and both water and energy sources, the Mountain Crews would not start the guns unless they felt that they could begin to build a base that would be durable.
No one wants to waste time or resources and that's the best reason to be positive about getting a good start on the season here. If the Tremblant Mountain Crews feel that now is the time to get started, that's good enough for us.
Of course, Mother Nature can mix things up a bit, but other than the little warm "blip" in the weather forecast tomorrow, the long range forecast continues to show BELOW average temperatures for the next 2 weeks, right up to opening day, so lets keep our fingers crossed that we're off to a great start preparing for the big day.
