73(*) Open Trails on all 4 Open Sectors at #Tremblant .
It May Be A Bit Snow-Foggy, But...
Two Days Worth Of New Snowfall Puts You “In The Pink” At Tremblant!

This is going to be a typical conditions and crowd scene today... it will
seem like a private club and other than at the Summit, or occasionally
around Lift bases, you may find yourself pretty much alone out on the
trails.
Weather Notes:
Not sure what’s going on with an indicated hour of freezing drizzle
in the morning hourly forecast with the well below Zero C temp’s.
There must be some warm strata swirling around in the lower
atmospheric layers, at least it’s short. Consequentially, there may
be some brief goggle/vision issues? It will not effect trail quality
at all, anything with the prefix “Freezing” in it just adds to the
particulate composition on the trail surfaces.
We are happy to see a return to more frequent natural snowfall
icons in the 14 day long range outlook. These models seem
to have some widely variable daily swings, but the overall trend
is cooler and snowier so it all appears to be headed in the right
direction.
Conditions Notes:
With the relatively low traffic, fresh snow, and fresh grooming, there
should be some extraordinary all-day Groomed trail quality across
all Skill Level open terrain.
In the Sous Bois, Glade, Hors Piste, Un-Groomed categories...
This snowfall is a great new addition, but it is not a blizzard or
a dump, so speed caution in all initial explorations is required, however...
Major Quality Jump Up Indicated with Re-Opening of Banzai
and MCA for the first time in weeks.
This is a significant indication of sector quality.
In terms of square surface area, Versant Nord/North Side trails Banzai and
Marie-Claude Asselin are small, but as “Canaries In The Coal Mine”, i.e.,
indicators of healthy sector conditions, they are huge signs of positive trends
in accumulation and quality. These trails exist solely on natural snowfall,
so when they re-open it’s a big step forward for both Expert Tremblant
Fans who use them, and more generally, for all Tremblant Guests who
are benefiting from the contribution that new snow makes to all trails.

you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
