Every Snowflake Counts.

Another overnight dusting of fresh snowfall adds an Official 1Cm to the
total. “But”... we can tell you for a fact that there will be wind shaped drift-in
generated by air-flow patterns over the Mountain that will cause localized
depths to significantly exceed that.

But Wait...

There’s More...

More Snow That Is...
Up To 30 CM’s Weekend Forecast!!!

Conditions Notes:

Fresh snow in a relatively warm but still sub-zero C environment
of -4 C cooler Mountain elevations should have a functional
cushion-feel of superb smoothness and grip across every square
CM of groomed terrain. We would additionally forecast that there will
be an increasing level of substrate consistency over the variable pitch
angled Blue/Intermediate and Black/Expert Skill Level terrain as the
result of a increased depth of the blended top layers of natural snow
over the firm base. The net result in the Blue/Black group is that there
should be less in the way of slick/slippery bits over crests, to and
descending over, the pitches below.

Please Note: Utility Advisory:
At these temp ranges there can be humidity related friction.
This may or may not occur to variable degrees but for sure,
any appropriate base waxing or coating for “Warm” range snow
will be an asset for sustained glide and/or speed. This may be
particularly applicable to all our Snowboard friends who do not
want to have to take a foot out to traverse plateaus.

In the Sous Bois/Bush, Hors Piste, Glade and Un-Groomed categories,
every snowflake counts here too, but obviously, the real potential
is in the forward promise of up to 30 CM’s. Is this anticipated snowfall
event happens anywhere close to expectations, it will be a seasonal
game-changer in this group.

Abundant snowy conditions and no lift lines are 2 very favourable factors for
any early new year ski holiday time period. Technically this is “Low Season”
so the benefit is “High Value”.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
