A Note Of Regional Perspective:
The storm system bringing the snow today has been working
its way up the East Coast of North America, and according
to one Weather Source we heard yesterday(CNN?), it dumped
more snow on New York City on February 1, than would
normally fall in 4 average NYC total February’s, COMBINED.

Conditions Notes:
First Day Of A 100% Sector Fully Open for EDGE Sector.
Why This Is Important:
2 main reasons:
1) In the maturing seasonal attainment of established snowpack base,
it is always a milestone worth noting the first 100% Open status for any
given Sector.
2) In this case, the last trail to be opened that completes the Sector
availability to 100% is Trail # 86, “Emotion”, which is a Sous Bois/Glade
trail which is not supported by either grooming or snowmaking. This
opening therefore specifically signifies the abundance of accumulations
necessary to safely allow access here, and more generally, the filling-in of
overall depths of natural snowfall to new levels.
