2/5/21 #Tremblant Conditions

Post by T360 »

.

95(*) Open Trails on all 4 Sectors at #Tremblant .

Things Got A Lot Warmer Than Forecast Yesterday,
So There May Be Some Re-froze Icy Bits Today.

Yesterdays forecast was for a high temp of +1C at the Sud/South Base
and it actually got up to +5C at mid-afternoon, so there was a lot
more softening as a consequence.

Here is a repeat from Last Run yesterday with the annotated
physical observations highlighted over the 2,200 foot vertical
rise of Tremblant from Sud/South Resort Base to Summit:

With the overnight drop back to Sub-Zero’s you can probably imagine
some of the results Mother Nature generated. To a large extent, the
re-freeze will have been mitigated by Grooming.

Weather Notes:

Please Note:

The grey data insert below the 14 day long range forecast
was time-frozen to 11:00 P.M. last night and could not
be refreshed after multiple attempts. We manually annotated
the temp. and time reading into the graphic, however the
rest of the weather stat's data may not be accurate. We believe
the sunrise and sunset times are accurate. We will attempt
ongoing refresh cycles, but we do not know when this service
will be restored.

Conditions Notes:

The basic default in the Groomed array should be “Smooth”.
It may be a wee bit on the solid side, but there is new snowfall
so with any luck, there will be a natural integration that renders
out top layers with good grip.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
