An extended afternoon of thickly falling, gorgeously beautiful,
big, fat, light, dry, dusty, velvet-like snowfall covered the entire
Mountain in a wonderful blanket of exquisite snow-white smoothness.

It’s all yours today.

Weather Notes:

Another cool one, but not as cool as many
of the recent ones. The rise through the day
will certainly make for a more enjoyable
experience after about 11:00 A.M. and
that may be the best reason for a relaxed
start.

A lot of the ease of use today is going to hinge
on the spread in the wind-speed values between
ambient and gust velocities. With a Northerly
orientation, it is likely that the Soleil sector, as
well as the Nord/North Duncan sector may have
the most lee-side shelter from the breezes.

Conditions Notes:

Let’s put it this way...

If you could go today and you don’t,
you’re making the wrong decision.

We describe the liquid-like smoothness over the new snowfall
surfaces as exquisite because it is. There are moments in every
season when there are synergistic combinations of individual
elements of excellence that combine in unique ways to be more
than the sum of their parts and yesterday afternoon was one of
them that we fully expect to be extended to today.

Of course... you’ll have to have the inventory
of insulation layers to effectively dress for it,
so assuming you have that ability, what we
are compelled to focus on is the clinical excellence
of the current skiing experience.

Obviously yesterdays photography conditions
were restrictive and challenging, but the new snow
is a great indication for the consequent high quality
that should be found across the entire range of
the Mountain’s fully opened terrain today.

There is one closure on the Official list, however,
it is a Park feature series, and the trail itself that
those features are on, is shown as a progressive
open.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
