Daily Conditions Report:

Conserve, Preserve, Protect and Maintain,
Plus 2 inches of fresh snow and still falling!

The Tremblant Mountain Crews will be moving into High Gear
conservation and maitainance mode with all the fresh snow we
got the day before yesterday. As we move into our second week
of the season, we have made fantastic progress in our base in
both depth and quality, so the task at hand is to build upon that
in a way that preserves what we have and allows the preparation
of additional terrain for future opening.

We got a nice little dusting of new snow overnight as well, as much
as 2 inches in places, which is not only "Icing on the Cake", but as
we all know, every little bit helps.

Mountain Crews will be maintaining our beautiful surfaces by carefully grooming the fresh snow. Additional snow making will help contribute depth to increase our base as we move into our second week of the season.

The Skiing and Boarding today will be Excellent.

The type of snow we got is a particularly light, yet soft snow
that packs easily and is resistant to hardening, so what we get
is this beautiful carpet like surface that carves like butter!

Everyone lucky enough to be on the Mountain today is in for a treat!

- South Side Open ... Top To Bottom via Gondola

- NORTH SIDE OPEN ... Top To Bottom Via Duncan Detachable Quad Chair!

- Pleasant Winter Temps at just around -5C.

- A little Fresh Snow on top of our recent Powder storm.

- Carving Heaven!

- Light traffic.

= Perfect!

Being on the Mountain today is a Gift from Mother Nature
and the Mountain Crews at Tremblant.

Skiers and Boarders will both benefit from all the work that was
done last week to prepare the Mountain for the 24 Hour event,
which had the added bonus of a powder storm that covered
the whole Mountain.

Get out and enjoy this rare day.

As the Patrol gets ready at the Summit for another day on the Mountain, we can see that there's plenty of high quality fresh snow around. It's going to be a great day for carving with very high grip levels in our snow surfaces.
