Good Grief Charlie Brown...
That's Nippy outside! Brrrrrr....
There is no other way to say it, but you are going to have to "Bundle Up”
for sure this morning as the thermometer takes a fast ride down to -31C this A.M. ...
But.. as soon as the suns thermal energy kicks in, the temps will
rapidly move up to around the -14C mark.
Obviously, riding up in the Gondola will be the warmest option for
getting up to the Summit today and once again, when the suns energy
gets to work, the Gondola cars retain more than enough heat to make
it a pleasant trip.
We would like to point out at this stage that there is no finer place
that we know of to take advantage of the technical expertise regarding
cold weather clothing than the shops of Tremblant.

Dressing for the cold is a "Systems" approach that requires layering
with high tech materials. You do not need to spend a fortune to do it
either and you will find that the Shops @ Tremblant offer a range of
products with various levels of features that can be fit into just about
any Skiers/Boarders budget.
The Bonus in all this is that the Quality of our Snow Surfaces
is Superb and when properly prepared, you will be rewarded with
some of the finest early season Ski/Board conditions you have
experienced.
The Qualities of Cold "Squeaky" Snow are unique. The grip and
control levels are excellent and the benefit is that you will not
notice the temps nearly so much while you are enjoying these
conditions and having so much fun!
Good News for this morning features the expansion of Open
Runs to 24! ...17 on the South Side and 7 on the North Side.
There are 8 lifts open and with relatively light traffic, there should be
no lines what-so-ever. You will be able to ski or board laps today.
Not only will that help keep you warm, but you will get great exercise
and tons of fresh, clean Mountain air! Spending the day outside today
and skiing or boarding vigorously is one of the most healthy forms of
activity you can do, so get with the program, suit up for the conditions
and get ready to Rock 'n Roll!

With the above illustrations in mind, we believe
Tremblant may well have the best carving conditions
on the East Coast!
The combination of all the work performed by the Tremblant
Mountain Crews for last weekends 24 hour Children's Charity
fundraiser gave us an incredible high quality base , PLUS
the very high quality powder snow we got, together with
these consistent dry, cold atmospheric conditions has
generated a best possible outcome...
You need to get out here and enjoy it!
