The Weather Is The News For Us, And...
Totally Appropriate For All The U.S. Presidents
Day/Week Guests Here Now, It’s ...
Star Spangled Weather !!!
From A Texas Low To A Colorado Low
In Less Than A Week.

A lot of our American cousins light-heartedly blame Canada
for cold winter weather, but the truth is that at Tremblant,
most of the major storm systems come from the prevailing
Sou-West storm tracks out of the good ‘ole U.S.A., specifically
Texas and Colorado Low’s.
Weather Notes:
All day easy...
Conditions Notes:
A number of complementary co-factors should
produce a very high quality of overall groomed
consistency.
Firstly, it is day 4 of grooming cycles following
the most recent thermal burp, so there should
be less and less noticeable left-overs as the
top layers have had incremental increase in the
scope of refinements.
Secondly, there is more fresh snow, so the net effect
is a better feel underfoot due to a blend that helps
render out the often courser granular nature of the
previous days.
Thirdly, the temperature is rising so there should be
an ever-so-slightly snow crystal softening from
just a touch of humid warmth.
The real bonus is the synergistic effects of all three
co-factors that typically multiplies the total benefit
above and beyond what any of the three would have
been without the others.
In the Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed,
look for primary new snowfall benefit in the upper
Versant Nord/North and Edge sectors due to the
wind direction as the snow fell which started as
Sou-West rising over the Summit from up Soleil,
after which they swung around to rising S/E over
the Versant Nord/North Duncan quadrant. The
wind velocities were moderate to gusty so you
can expect some drifting around lee-side contours.

Bring Back The Memories...
Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
