Considering all the wild card potentials for today...
For Best Results Consult With The Tremblant Info.Ski Crew.

The Official Open Trails list could change multiple times today
and as well the conditions within the Official Open Trails could
be evolving rapidly due to Saturday weekend traffic and new
falling snow. For best results we recommend a Summit consult
with the radio controlled Info.Ski crews who have up-to-the-minute
Mountain Intel., so you can optimize your time on the Mountain.
Enlarged trail maps and the daily printed conditions and trail
status data are all easily accessible at this station.

Weather Notes:
This snowstorm has a lot of potential for very bad driving
conditions and very excellent potential for great ski conditions,
all due to the strong wind gust velocities shown in the hourly
projections.
These hourly wind gust estimates are only for ground levels
and we can tell you for a fact they will be exceeded at
elevations, maybe by a lot.
Even though the absolute temps are not overly cold, the windchill
could make is seem extremely chilly when facing into the blast.
Windproof layers are definitely going to be an asset today.

Technically it’s “Spring”, but Mother Nature sure does
have a lot of “Winter” here now, and evidently more to come!

Conditions Notes:
To begin with, there should be a substantial upgrade
to all the freshly groomed open trails that were refroze
yesterday and have now had a second pass to produce
a deeper layer of machined rendered surfaces.
This will become augmented by new snowfall projected
to start around the noon hour, however the exact onset
or intensity of snowfall is not fully predictable. Due to
Orographic potential where natural snowmaking air masses
are pushed up the ramp-like shape of the Mountain into
cooler atmospheric levels, we think there is significant
probability that the Mountain could receive accumulations
larger/deeper than ground levels.
Additionally, lee-side Mountain contours could see huge
backfill drifting. The indicated wind direction is Easterly
which means it will be pushing up the Mountain directly
over P’tit Bonheur and the Lowell Thomas Quad, so in this
case look for that lee-side benefit on the Summit sectors
of Versant Sud/South side upper portions of all the trails
below the Mountains crest.
This is also a case where Versant Soleil could see huge
drift-in benefit as it is on the lee-side behind the Duncan
and Timber portions of the Mountain peak that will also
have some direct facing wind exposures.
All these factors could generate many different sector
variations so you will need to be ready for rapidly evolving
challenge that could elevate skill level requirements as
the day develops.
