Weather Notes:
Conditions Notes:
Considering yesterdays wintery-like weather that
has extended overnight to this morning, then the
low, single digit base level temp’s we’ve got now,
plus the forecast only overcast hourly projections
that will effectively umbrella the groomed trail
network...
Today could actually be quite an excellent “Fly Under
The Radar” day of well shaded spring skiing wonderful
with firm undertones that yield good natural speed
without any excessive saturations.

Late winter snowfall, often of substantial amounts, is not uncommon
for these close to end-of-season days. Within mid to late April normal
daily temperature ranges it has the tendency to be quite humid which
may generate sensations of thickness or reduced glide, however it is
at all times an extremely beneficial layer when groomed over and into
the pre-existing trail base.
Any thickness of the initial un-groomed accumulation is typically turned
into a much higher natural glide/speed by the grooming as the inherent
outward radiation of frost still in the trail base from entire winter quickly
works from below to congeal/solidify the newly packed strata. The final
result over the freshly groomed can be rocket-fast with very high levels
of lateral edge-set grip.

Due to the unique attributes of any late season weather cycles,
consulting with the Tremblant Info. Ski Crews is the ideal way
to optimize your day.
The collective experience of the group through the first tracks
of early morning runs is quickly shared within the entire group
and those insights are immediately conveyed to the public.
All you need to do is ask.
