Conditions Notes:
In the Groomed:
Very fine machine processed surface corduroy with
all-day mogul resistant durability. This is day 2 of
a post-thermal event, so the additional night-shift
of grooming should have rendered out a considerable
rise in both the overall blended depth of loose skiable
top layers as well as a significant expansion of that
quality over a much larger square area.
In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades/Un-Groomed:
These are the categories that were the most sensitive
to the recent warm/wet thermal weather burp and
consequently much of what was open is now closed.
Practically speaking, this group may need a good ‘ole
snowstorm to get recovered, so Experts need to be
patient until Mother Nature decides to restore some
coverage. It is possible the Ski Patrol may reopen
here or there but there’s no doubt more snowfall
is going to be a huge permission for this group.
