.
Open Run count up to 63 and a wee bit of fresh Snow
(7.5 Cm/2.8 inch) just to put some icing on your
Holiday Mountain cake!
BONUS: SUPER DEMO DAY! South Side Base, Lower Johannsen
between Flying Mile and Gondola
Today is going to be a busy day. It will be a good day too, just busy.
Today is the kind of day where "First Tracks" program participants
are going to have a real bonus, light traffic for at least an hour to
90 minutes, so 5 or 6 runs if you're quick, AND.... Superb Carving Conditions!
Holiday Weekend, Lots of Guests, Great conditions, Easy Weather ....
there should be a good attendance on the Mountain today, so the
strategy will be minimizing wait times for the lifts. For that, you
will need to go North Side as soon as you can this morning.

Make sure you check out all the new gear at today's Demo Day.
These are probably the best conditions available in Eastern North
America today, a great time to evaluate options!
Copy of Official printable Grooming/trail status report: Review Notes: the 3 status columns in chart above:
1) The First Status Column:
-Tick marked for runs open.
-Flag icon in the first column indicates the run has a Race course set on it.
-An "up" or "down" arrow in the first column indicates that the top or bottom
portion of the run is open.
-An "hourglass" icon indicates that the runs opening is "Progressive”,
which can mean either gradual or delayed opening.
2) The second Status column:
-Shows runs with Snow Making.
-If there is a crescent moon shape in the second column,
it means Snow Making is being done at night.
-The Boxed No.1 symbol in the second column means
that is a "First Tracks" program Open Run.
3)The third Status column:
-Shows runs with Grooming.
-You will note that both Snow Making and Grooming can
be shown on runs that are not open yet, this indicates the
preparation of terrain that may be opened soon.
-The wavy icon in the third column indicates
that run has natural undergrowth and is typically associated
with Glade runs that may not be groom-able.
Bottom Line:
The Skiing and Boarding should be excellent, however one
must still be focused on careful Speed and Edge Control,
including, but not limited to, Caution, due to the possibilities
of some natural hazards of our still early season conditions
and busy Holiday traffic on the slopes.
Please be advised also that Tremblant360 supports the use of
Helmet Head Protection for ALL users of the Mountain. No Exceptions.
Statistically, there are fewer Head/Brain injuries and Fatalities with
Helmet use.
