Our Tremblant Forecast... Beautiful!

Weather Notes:

A sunny Spring preview, followed by hopefully
not-so-scattered snowfall. We would actually
say that chances for snow over the Mountain
are typically better than at ground levels with
this profile due to the Mountains capability to
be its own weather maker.

For those guests that have endured the cold
of recent “First Tracks” mornings, here’s your
too easy payback!

For weekend planners, get ready for another dose of Kkkool.

Conditions Notes:

In The Groomed:

Everything will start as very well refined where
fresh grooming has been incrementally improving
universal evenness over the entire range for the
recent days after the last cool/windy snowfall, however...
A common observation with warming temps near
Zero C and direct solar energy is that the evolving
softness during the course of the day, largely after
roughly 11:00 A.M., will seem more evident on Versant
Sud/South and Soleil sectors, while Versant Nord/North
and Edge sectors remain more winter-like.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades And Un-Groomed:

After several days of Presidents Week holiday traffic
passing over the most recent snowfall, there will be
clearly evident patterns of use that may have all
manner of conditions from excellence to raw that
will require cautious explorations to confirm safe
zonal passage. Even then, you may encounter
unique challenge or hazard. One factor to keep
in mind with speed versus safe navigation is that
hazards are not always visible from above. Basically,
you need to be able to stop, pivot, brake, course
correct, on virtually instantaneous demand. These
conditions are absolutely within the domain of
legitimate Expert skill and experience. If you are
mentoring the less skilled, please do trial runs
before taking aspiring bush whackers into zones
with no easy exits.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
